Show BLESSINGS OF THE STORM. The rain storm of last night will be of incalculable value to the beet farmers of this county and may prove of equal benefit to the hay raisers who had begun to think that one cutting of hay was the limit of their crop this year. The storm was wide reaching and of sufficient force to give the country the moisture which the thirsty soil so long has demanded and now, with another downpour in sight, the end of the drought is forecast. ' The rain of last night was one of few storms which pleased all classes. The city folks were as delighted over the cooling and refreshing re-freshing weeping of the clouds as were the farmers, who saw in the rain their financial salvation. |
