Parker to recover on two separate promissory notes, alleged to have been made by the defendant January 2H, 1910, and made payable to Joseph Darker, April 20, of the same year. ; One note was for $12S and bore j interest at the rate of 8 per cent per annum, the other was for $1,000 bearing bear-ing interest al the rate of S per cent per annum.
