Show A TRIBUTE TO FRANCESWILLARD Washington. Nov. IS. Around thi statue ot Frances E. "WlUard, which: the state of Illinois has placed in tho National Hair of Fame at tho capltol, many prominent members of the W. C. T. U., which is In convention in Baltimore, gathered to pay a tribute . to their noted leader. The principal feature of the gathering gather-ing was an address by Miss Anna A. Gordon, vice president of the W. C. T. U. Then ns the chorus of "America" resounded throughout the hall, each member of the Illinois delegation pass ed by tho statue and deposited a flower flow-er at the feet of the statue. |
