"The Time. The Placo and the The Girl," was taken from an actual c-' c-' curence, the scenes being reproduced from photographs around which the story was written. "Johnny Hicks." a slangy, good naturcd and honorable young gambler, Is away from the old stereotyped stage character, very original ori-ginal find refined, and above all. highly high-ly pJeaslug. Molly Kelly, the trained nurse, riedro. the organ grinder, Willie, the spoiled child and the coal hesiver hold up the comedy end of tho play. The chorus comes from the I.A Salle school, long noted for its "Broilers" and having a reputation of 1-elng the greatest training school for chorus girls In America. The cast in Its entirety has -ocn carefully selected. The "equipment Is complete In ever' detail, the stage being stripped of everything before the arrival ar-rival of the company to make room for the massive scenery. One of the most beautiful pictures ever witnessed is that used in the second act. Forty young ladies so arranged and grouped as to reproduce repro-duce a large American flag, covering the entire stage.
