Show MR. CUY VOODARD, CONCERT-MEISTER CONCERT-MEISTER AND SOLO VIOLINIST. Mr.' Woodard is a resident of Chicago, Chi-cago, and much of his early training and work was done in that city, lie has had an exceedingly thorough training train-ing .Htudying under such teachers as Dr. Raetcres (teacher of Max Hcndlx and Maud Powell), and then with the prominent Chieago violinist, Herbert Butler. Mr. Woodard then became a member of the faculty of the C!ilca?o Musical College. He also studied for two years with Emil Sauret. He then went to Europe and completed his studies during the last four years with Henri Marteau. Before his departure for Europe Mr. Woodard was with the Chicago Symphony Sym-phony Orchestra, from the organization organiza-tion of that orchestra, and left to complete com-plete hi3 studies. He now returns a magnificent soloist and will also be concertmaster. |
