Show PRISONERS PLEAD IN - COURT FOUR OF THEM ARRAIGNED AND CONFESS THEIR GUILT. v' Joieph Dye Pleads Guilty, But Anna Carlson is Not Taken Into Court Other Cases. The following prisoners were arraigned ar-raigned before Judge Howell this morning and, pleading guilty, will be sentenced next Thursday, morning: Joseph Dye, charged with uttering checks bearing the forged signature of Sheriff B. B. Wilson and having Anna Carlson cash the same at four different drug stores in Ogden. Wrhllo Dye pleaded guilty, it is generally thought the Carlson woman will be allowed to go without more punishment punish-ment than she has received as a dupo of her wily accomplice. R. E. Glea$on and B. Coger, both pleaded guilty to burglary in the third degree and will get justice handed hand-ed out to them Thursday. Jacob Cochrane, charged with grand larceny, admitted having committed petty larceny and will be sentenced for that crime. In the case of Walter Barnes, charged charg-ed with faillns to provide for his wife aud family, the prisoner pleaded not guilty and his trial will be set later on. |
