It is hoped that passenger t raffle may bo carried as far as tho Hermitage by the first of May, the extending to keep steadily on until Huntsville Is' reached.' reach-ed.' Most of tha differences between the company and property owners in the canyon have been amicably settled. Elegant new cars have been ordered, wire for trolleys and "feeders" have been purchased and largo forces or men soon will be at work at different points along the route. The steel bridges, of which there will be three, are to be rushed to completion, nbout 100,000 pounds of steel to be used In all three. The company has purchased 1G,-824 1G,-824 worth of copper wire as the first ! Installment This will provide 3 1-2 miles of trolley and 24 miles of "4-0 ' feeders for the first stretch of the new road, extending as far as The Hermitage. Her-mitage. Six new trolley cars to cost J5.000 each have been ordered.
