Show OLD PEOPLE WILL BE HAPPY The Old Folks' ceinral committee of Salt Lake City has invited the old folks of the various counties, from as far uorth as Brigham City aud as far south as Payson, to participate in an excursion and entertainment at Salt Lake City on Tuesday, June 20th. The Oregon Short Line and D & R. G. companies have offered to furnish transportation for the old folks and the necessary committees, the Short Line bringing the people from tho , north and the Rio Grande those fiom .the south. The invitation has been accepted by the Weber County "Old Folks" committee and every arrangement is ! being made to give the old people seventy years of age and over, an excellent, ex-cellent, time on' that day. The only qualification for participation In the excursion and enjoyment of Its features fea-tures is that the person must be 70 years of age, regardless of color or creed, all over that ace being furnished fur-nished appropriate badges. Badges for those 70. SO and 00 years of ae are now being distributed to the bishops of the thirty-one wards In the three stakes of Weber county, who will, In turn, distribute them to the old people. f The train from Brigham City will leave at 7:15 a. m , stopping at Pffvy and Wlllard. and for a few minutes at Ogden. expecting to reach Salt Lake City at 9: 45 The train from Weber county will leave Ogden at S: 43 a. m . a few minutes after departure of the train from the north, and will pick up the j old folks at the various stations; named -bh follows: : Roy, S:57: Clearfield. 9:0.-; Lav-ton.
