A group of fighting champions who are regarded as excellent excel-lent possibilities for selection as representatives rep-resentatives of America at the Olympic Olym-pic games, were developed at the national na-tional amateur boxing tournament which closed here tonight. Six were new holders of the premier honors, while two of last year's winners, who tried to retain their laurels, were beaten beat-en back. Murphy, of Kansas City, returned. re-turned. to. the title list on which he appeared ap-peared three years ago, and Sam La-gonla La-gonla of New York, repeated his success suc-cess of last year. v Principal interest in the closing bouts of the tournament centered, in the game- attempt of Edward Eagan, Yale's husky boxing leader, to retain the hoavyweight litlo which he won last year and again also the 175-pound crown.
