Show MRS. pra WHITE IS RELEASED ON THE COAST After investigation proved thai Mrs. Ora Pay ton Walte could probably not be convicted of tbe embezzlement and grand larceny charges on which she was arrested two days ago in Ios Angeles, An-geles, she was released last night from the Los Angeles county jail. Thomas Paul Parker, the man with whom she was arrested, was held on a charge of evading the drfr according lo Sheriff Peterson of Weber county. The pair were arrested after leaving leav-ing Ogden in an automobile belonging to Otto Meek. The machint was found in a Tremontou garage, whore it had been left and the woman is said to have secured $100 as a loan on It The fact that the automobile was not taken out of the stale and that the woman secured it from Mr. Meek ostensibly as a loan for an hour's ride, led the local authorities to believe that they could not charge her with larceny.
