Show HUNTS FII THE STREETS I BAD CONDITION A petition was made to the city commission this morning to havo grading done on Wyoming and Qulncy avenues and also on Thirtieth and Thirty -second streets, between those avenues It is claimed that merchants refuse to deliver goods to residents in the district on account of the impassable condition of the streets Tho petition is signed by about 20 parties and was referred to the department of streets. It Is as follows: "We, the undersigned, residents and taxpayers of Ogden City, respectfully respect-fully request you to inspect the condition con-dition of Thirty -ieconfl street between Wyoming avenue and Quincy avenue, as well as Quincy avenue between Thirtieth and Thirty-second streets. "Doth streets are well near iinpas-able iinpas-able for any kind of traltlc, dealers frequently refusing to deliver coal and other necessities of life. The grade on Thirty -second street Is very steep and wagons sink axle deep in the mui. Quincy nvenue is deeded to the city but has not been graded at all. We hopo that you may see fit to improve im-prove the condition of these avenues." oo , |
