Show I! DERMODY ID I DEHI I JOIN 0, S. IUVY Four men were recruited at the local lo-cal naval recruiting office yesterday by B. F. Grey. C. C. M.. In charge or the elation. One of the young men who offered his services to the Auk is Lawrence W. Derraody. son of W. J. Dermody. manager of the local Western Union office. He has been employed as an electrician and hopes to be doing that work in the navy soon. Leo T. Dean, another Ogden boy of the group, was taken as second class fireman. The other two men were Clifford Acree, Wathena, Kan., and Vivian Eddy. Givin, Iowa Acree went as ship's cook and the latter as apprentice ap-prentice seaman. |
