This figure was announced today by clerks of both draft boards who inspected in-spected their records. This Includes all calls, special anjd regular, which have been filled by the boards since the selective service system was established. es-tablished. The men leaving this evening -will depart at G:30 o'clock and will travel to Camp Kearny, Cal., via the Salt Lake & Los Angeles railroad. They will bo given a farewell dinner at 5 o'clock at the Stimson cafe and will form in line and march to the depot after the dinner. Chairman of the dinner will be Wells R. McBrJdo and he will introduce intro-duce Charles Kingston of Taylor, and Dr. Edward I. Rich as the speakers. Warninn is Issued. It is expected that several thousand people will turn out to bid the boys farewell as this is ono of the largest conMngcnts of selected men which has been summoned' to leave. A note of warning was issued today by officials of the two draft boards to relatives of the men ugalnst crowding into the depot to- see the boys depart. Serious accidents have been narrowly narrow-ly averted in the past because of the congestion and severnl people who have fainted have narrowly escaped death from suffocation in the crowd. The police department has been asked to send enough officers to the depot to adequately handfo the largo crowd and keep the people from jamming jam-ming into the station and onto the platform The soldiers will bo led by the Girls' band of Ogden and the American Ameri-can and Italian colors as they march to tho depot.
