Although he has no campaign committee, his many friends are doing what thev can to assure his election. Especialfy ac- j tivo for him are many couhtv officers who were In the campaign before the primaries Friends of Chris Flygare, present tour-year-term commissioner, out for re-election, and of his opponent -V. E Weatherby, are also advocating thoir .different candidates and urging sup- , port for them next Tuesday. The present incumbents in the city auditor's and municipal judge's office are not making any campaign efforts at all. They are resting on their , laurels, feeling that the records they I have made speak for themselves. (Arthur F. Larson is the citv auditor, seeking re-election, and Municipal Judge George S. Barker Is also desirous desir-ous of remaining in office. Opposed to these two are Leroy Farley, for auditor, and W. J. Stone, Socialist, for j eity judge. ; These latter two are working hard for election. In the primaries thev were far behind in the number of votes cast, but in spite of this fact, they are making as hard a fight as the corrupt practices act will permit. go |
