Show COAL Mil TO BE AVERTED IF THE PEOPLE CONTINUE TO MAKE STRENUOUS PROTEST Tho fcdoral coal committee for Ogden Og-den and Wober county, composed of Dr. E. M. Conroy, S. T. Whitager and Thos. G. Burt, reports that tho people aro responding much bettor to thoir request for information on the coal situation. It also reports that, through tho campaign waged to relievo tho situation, sit-uation, coal Ib now coming into the city from tho mines. If tho citizens continue to co-operato with this committee, com-mittee, it Is thought tho shortage will soon be overcome. In spito of this optimistic outlook, Dr. Conroy stated that the people should continuo sondlng In tho coupons printed yesterday in Tho Standard. Every person in Ogden will be required to mail tho information desired beforo the committee can completely com-pletely relievo the situation. Further- moro, the national committee, through W. W. Armstrong, has ordered theso reports sent In and therefore steps will be taken to seo that these orders are carried out. Cars of coal have been received to day, although Dr. Conroy did not know how many. Seven of thorn wore sent to the sugar fuctory, so that that concern con-cern would not havo to close down. It is highly important that industries of thiB kind be kept going. As per the orders of tho committee from V. W. Armstrong, state tue. administrator, ad-ministrator, who Is acting under federal fed-eral Instructions, it is requosted that all who have not done so. fin out the following coupon and mall it at once to tho committee, in care of Thos G.
