Show THREE MEN MISSING 10 ARE WHITES BY RELATIVES "Among the missing" are three men the Ogden police havo been asked to locate, if possible. Letters of inquiry have come from relatives. If one man is found, ho will share in an estate Ben McGinnis is wanted at his home at Gold Stone, Mont. A letter from Lewis McGinnis, evidently a brother, says that a few months ago Ben was on his way to Salt Lake City, but that he might havo stopped In Ogden. He was formerly in Colorado, working as a cook In hotels. It was suggested that his name might be on tho registration regis-tration lists, as he is 25 years old. His father died, leaving an estate hard to settle without his presence Maurice Thornton Owens is wanted in New York City. When last heard of. in 1911. he resided at 1036 West Twenty-fifth street, this city, so tho letter states. Information regarding him is sought by M. Pearl La Van, 2251 Seventh avenue, New York. The third man reported is Emory John T. Howard, whose home Is in Bakcrsfleld, Calif. The letter is from his wife, Mrs. Lily M. Howard, Brown Apts., East Bakersfield, who states that he left Cheyenne on July 20, bound for home, and that she has not heard from him since. She is worried, and implores the police to try to obtain some trace of him. A photograph is enclosed. The police have some trace of the last man. It Is said he worked in a garage here, but that he left to go to Salt Lake. Word from there says ho went to Idaho and it is thought he is now in northern Utah. This clue is being followed, with some prospect of locating the man. Of tho other two men, not a trace Is to be found. Inquiries so far made fall to find anyone who has seen or ever heard of them. |
