Plans havo been drawn and survoys havo been made for a modern hydro-electric p'ant and grcjit storage reservoir in Red Butto canyon, to furnish light and power pow-er for tho post and a water supply sufficient suf-ficient for a division of the army. The estimated cost of tho proposed improvement, money for which Utah's delegation in congress is now trying to have appropriated by tho war department, de-partment, is from $100,000 to $125,000. Word was roceiVcd from Washington, Washing-ton, D.
