Show FOREIi ARRESTED Di J CHARGE DF BATTERY Oscar S. Johnson, one of the foremen fore-men at tho plant of the Ogden Packing Pack-ing and Provision company, was arrested ar-rested this morning by Detective Robert Rob-ert Chambers on a charge of battery. Tho complaint in the case was sworn out by George Mocas, one of the former for-mer employes of the company, now on strike. According to information obtained by tho police, when Mocag quit work Saturday with the other striking employes, em-ployes, he' demanded the wages duo him. An argument followed and it is alleged that Johnson assaulted Mocas and injured him quite badly. Secretary S. S. Jensen of the packing pack-ing company states that a majority of tho employes are satisfied with the new schedule, which provides for an extra half hour of work fivo days and the closing of the work-day Saturday at 3 p. m. oo |
