Bennett, local superintendent superinten-dent for tho Metropolitan Life Insurance Insur-ance company, has received instructions instruc-tions from the home office of the company com-pany in New York City to canvass the policyholders and the public in general gen-eral for subscriptions to tho Liberty Loan bond issuo. Subscription blanks and information regarding the issue have been placed in the hands of all representatives of the company. As an additional evidence evi-dence of authorization, each of the insurance in-surance men will wear a blue ribbon on tho lapel of his coat bearing the words: "Liberty Loan Campaign, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Com-pany " The Metropolitan company has done much at various times for the government govern-ment service, its collection of statistics statis-tics as to unemployed and as to sickness sick-ness having been of national importance. import-ance. There are 1,500 representatives in the field, 18 of whom operate in Ogden Og-den and vicinity. Instructions to those agents will be to have all applicants get in touch with their local bank or the Federal Reserve bank, or to forward their subscriptions sub-scriptions direct to the treasury department de-partment in Washington, D. C. President Pres-ident Wilson has recognized tho work being done by tho company by sending a telegram of appreciation to Vice President Healey Fisk of the company. oo |
