The courts will be put in shape at the earliest opportunity. oppor-tunity. Contracts for the grading havo been let and the work will start next week. President M. Smith of Browning Brothers has appointed the following committees: Grounds Jack Littlefield, chairman; A. Moyes and E. H. Dunaway. Membership Nils Eckbo, chairman; Douglas Levis, Louise Pierce, Inez Adams. Tournament Eugene Pratt, chairman; chair-man; A. II. Cousins. Mr. Littlefield and Cousins are working work-ing on the constitution, which will be submitted at the meeting next week for approval. The Weber Tennis club of ten members mem-bers has made application for membership, member-ship, which brings the total new applications ap-plications up to twenty-four. Theso new members, with the original thirty-five, thirty-five, will make one of tho best tennis clubs this city has ever had. A meeting will bo held Wednesday to voto on the adoption of a new constitution. |
