Show BATTERY B BDYS ARE ' TO TAKE PART IN HE Batteries B and C, Utah National 1 guard, will participate in tho big par- u ado, to be held in Ogden next Satur- I day, Sept 15. Tho event is tho Mill- 1 tary Fashion show, held in honor of 2 the soldiers of Ogden and to raise mon- D ey for the mess fund of Battery B. The 1 date originally set was for Tuesday, U Sept. 18, but the military authorities I requested that it bo made earlier, as 1 they arc in doubt whether tho troops I will bo able to participate on the lat- S ter date. It is expected they will move 1 to California after tho 15th. 1 Chairman Charles H. Barton called a 3 meeting of tho committee for the af- j fair in the Weber club last evening, at ? which time sub-committee were named j and leaders of tho preliminary work j wore appointed. 1 Frank M. Driggs was named as chairman of a special committee on 3 the advance sale of tickets. A lag day I will be arranged, at which time young ladies will canvass the city with tags, which will serve as admission tickets 3 to the program at Glonwood park. i Dr. Reinhold Kanzler was made chairman of the parade committee. I Georgo S. Glen, Joseph Scowcroft Jr. u and James H. DeVine wore also named fej on this committee. The latter will act g as grand marshal of the event. All H lodges of Ogden hvill be asked to havo a a representation In the parade, as well as other organizations.
