Show 9 : Charming and Clever Business Woman I i Entertains Co-Workers at Lovely Affair jj I Miss Roso Hartog entertained at a charming evening affair on Thursday as a farewell courtesy to her friends and co-workors with whom she has had such pleasant affiliation during her years at the W. H. Wright and Sons company. A theater party included in-cluded fifty guests who enjoyed the performance at the Orphoum and UiIb was followed by a sumptuous repast at the attractive homo of Miss Hartog on Canyon Road, where feaBt and flowers flow-ers welcomed the hunored guests. Mrs. C. H. Hartog assisted her daughter as did Miss Mae Hartog, Miss Myrtle Huss and Mrs. Hartog. One long ta-Xblc, ta-Xblc, surrounded by five smaller ones, were exquisitely coiorful in golden rod and Indian head, and with the tables, beautiful maderla. cloths, lovely favors and baskets well filled with .golden glow, sunflowers and tinted vines, placed in fascinating nooks and corners, cor-ners, the affair has been made a memory mem-ory worth while. On a card, prepared for the occasion in counter compliment compli-ment to Miss Hartog and bearing a messago together with a gift of rare beauty and usefulness, was the following fol-lowing sentiment expressed: "Our thoughts to yours, across the miles between, Divided though we bo by more than space; Remembrance of your kindly deeds brings back your faco And blots out all the days that Intervene." Inter-vene." Mrs. Agnes Warner delighted those present with vocal selections and Miss Stovens piano rendition was "enjoyed. Those who were participants of Miss Hartog s hospitality were: Mme.
