Show !FH DAYS WILL BE CELEBRATED II HTSVILLE Through tho nature gateway formed by Ogden canyon, hundreds of former residents of Ogden valley will pour into Huntsvillc and other towns of the prosperous community for tho four-day four-day homo-coming celebration to be held Jn Huntsvillc, starting Sunday morning. Combined with the homecoming home-coming events will he an observance of Independence day on Wednesday with a patriotic public meeting at which Apostle David O. McKay will bo tho principal speaker. Huntsvlllo claims the distinction of having been the first community of the State to establish a free public school and this will receive due notice when, on Monday afternoon, there will be unveiled in the Huntsvlllo school grounds a monument of native stono to the memory of Mary Jane Dilworth Hammond, the first school teachor of tho stato. At least three of Mrs. Hammond's Ham-mond's original seven pupils who attended at-tended class sessions in a tent school at Salt Lake will bo present to take part in the unveiling exorcises. Tho past and present of Huntsvlllo and Ogden valley will bo rovicwod by "home-comers" and citizens of the community in oxorclses" to be hold on Tuesday. Tho day's program also includes in-cludes an automobile sightseeing trip throughout tho valley. The patroitic moetiug in tho morning and sports during the afternoon comprise the program for Wednesday. The following follow-ing is a detailed program of the four-day four-day celebration as planned by the general gen-eral committee on arrangements: Sunday, July 1 Regular Sunday services with program pro-gram arranged by tho bishopric. Mutual Mu-tual service Sunday evening to consist of music and reminiscenses by our honored guests. Monday, July 2 10 A. M. Welcome assembly at tho chapel; selection by Huntsvillc band; organ prelude, Eliza Peterson; invocation; invoca-tion; singing by Huntsville ward choir; address of welcome by the oldest old-est resident of Huntsville, Patriarch David McKay; responses by Patriarch William Halls of Mancos, Colo., John W. Blair of Helmville, Mont., Edward H. Anderson of Salt Lake, David A. Nelson of San Francisco and one of the descendants of Capt. Jefferson Hunt; selection by quartet; benediction benedic-tion and music by the band. 2 P. M. Unveiling of monument on school grounds; music by the band and raising of flag on school grounds; unveiling un-veiling of monument by Moselle Hammond Ham-mond Halls of Mancos, Colo.; presentation presen-tation of monument, President Thomas E. McKay; "The First School," address ad-dress by W. W. Rlter of Salt Lake, one of tho first seVcn pupils taught ' by Mrs. Hammond; "The Mother Teacher," address by F. B.
