Show uu PROSPERITY FOR THE FARMERS. Utah has no complaint over the outlook, out-look, which business generally, and crop conditions in particular, present. Tho head of the weather bureau In Salt Lake, in reporting on crops, gives an encouraging review of farm and orchard. or-chard. "Crops have grown rapidly during the week under the innuence of the warm dry weather, but dry farm crops are heginning to need rain in some places. Haying continues under excellent ex-cellent conditions, and tho first crop of alfaffa is unusually good. Tho weather has been especially favorable for the growth of wheat, rye. and sugar beets, and these are growing excellently ex-cellently throughout the state. Some damage to beets by cut worms has occurred oc-curred in Wasatch county. There is a largely increased acreage of corn in Box Elder, Juab, Millard and Beaver counties, which is doing fairly well, but has not been so favorably affected affect-ed by the warm dry weather of the week. Fruits are doing nicely. Apples especially are promising in the Bear river valley. Irrigation wmer is plentiful." plen-tiful."
