Stanford reported to the board of commissioners commission-ers this morning that contraots with the Wheelwright Construction company compa-ny for the building of sidewalks In districts 130. 131, 132 and 133 had been executed Work on the Improvements Im-provements will begin at an early date. The petition for extension of water-main water-main on Chester street, a distance of about 400 feet, was referred to the superintendent su-perintendent of waterworks. At the board meeting last night, a (resolution providing for the paving of Jackson avenue, between Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth streets, with concrete, con-crete, was passed and contract for the work will be entered into in the course of a short time. The concrete surfacing will be six inches thick. Protests against 6ever Improvement on Endion avenue, between Twenty-second Twenty-second and Twenty-third streets, were referred to the city engineer for com putation.
