Ju soon, however as the little rush of selling had spent itself, the market mar-ket for May quick 1 recovered and swung into lin with other more active act-ive speculative deliveries, which, meanwhile, had been only moderately influenced by the weakness of the old crop month of May. In a general way the bearish influence came from vague peace talk and from Improved reports regarding the crop outlook in southern Illinois. After opening unchanged un-changed to 7 l-4c lower, prices stead led at a range 1-4 to 2 l-4c under last nisht's level, Corn declined with wheat The volume vol-ume of trade, though, was rather light Opening prices which varied from 1-4(5 3-8c lower to a shade advance, ad-vance, were followed by a moderate setback all around The sage 1n other grain affected oats, but not to any radical extent.
