Show CHAMPIONS ENTER RELAY CARNIVAL Missouri Team Big Surprise in Races Sensational Events Are Expected. Philadelphia, Pa., April 20. Missouri's Mis-souri's champion one mile relay team today was entered for the one mile re-lay re-lay championship at the relay carnl val to be held on Friday and Saturday Satur-day of thlR week- Missouri's team was the big surprise at the relay games held at Des Moines last Saturday. Sat-urday. They defeated the other west ern colleges in the mile and turned the distance in 3 minutes 23 3-5 seconds sec-onds which is one second under the present college record time. Murphy, E6ton, Wyatt and Nie-dcrp, Nie-dcrp, the same men that showed such good form last Saturday, will represent Missouri here. The addition addi-tion of the western champions lends additional interest to a race that already al-ready promises to be one of the most sensational of the year Missouri will not only have to beat Chicago and Northwestern, but they will find Pennsylvania and Harvard even faster fast-er quartettes. Missouri also will bring east their star pole vaulter, Floyd, who has cleared more than twelve feet and Simpson for the hurdles. The latter has done 15 3-5 seconds over the high sticks.
