Show DELEGATES ELECTED TO REPUBLICAN CHTI1 The Republican primaries in both the city and county districts were well attended last night and a complete list of delegates was elected. A noticeable no-ticeable feature of the meetings was perfect harmony. "Plin oononK'.fnnr rlolocmfoc plPrttPfl last night will attend the state Republican Re-publican convention in Provo May 1. They will go to the convention over Ihe Denver & Rio Grande, leaving Ogden at 8:15 Monday morning. The presiding officers at the five ward meetings in the city were: Carl Allison, chairman, and W. E. Zuppan, secretary, of the First ward; M. A, Richardson and R. C. Glnsmann, chairman and secretary of the Second Sec-ond ward; David Jensen and J. F. Barker, chairman and secretary of the Third ward; A. G. Horn and L. A. Van Dyke, chairman and secretary of the Fourth ward, and Captain E. T. Hulaniski chairman of the Fifth ward. Hey wood was unanimously selected as a candidate for election as delegate-at-large to the Chicago convention In June, and It was determined that a committee should be selected by the chairman of the Weber county delegation, dele-gation, after holding a conference with the mayor, to negotiate with other delegations of the state for Mr. Heywood's election The caucus selected Charles R. Hollingsworth as chairman and Carl Allison as secretary. |
