Show PROCEEDINGS IN POLICE COURT In the police court this morning, Joe Keane was sentenced to serve 15 days in jail. He was arrested yesterday yester-day evening on lower Twenty-fifth street, for the third time within three weeks on the charge of drunkenness and disturbing the peace. Bert and John Wilson, charged with the same offonse, pleaded guilty and were given a 5 and 10-day sentence respectively, with the privilege of paying tho alternative fine. They were taken into custody by Patrol-mar: Patrol-mar: W. W. Richardson last night. James Murray, who was also brought into court for the third time within a few weeks, was found guilty of vagrancy and sentenced to serve twenty days in jail. He was arrested by Detective R. H. Wootton and Patrolman Pa-trolman T. H. Blackburn. He was said to have been roaming around the H business district of the city and H "mooching" for nearly a year. Frank IH Sandstrot and Thomas Doxey, who H were intoxicated but not noisy, were H given suspended sentences. H |
