Show ; ICE FROM TIE LQCftL ; PONS DECLARED PURE That the Ice from Ogden ice ponds and artificial Ice plants Is of first class purity, was the report brought to the city last night by Sanitary In-' In-' spector George Shorten, from the office of-fice of State Chemist Herman Harms. The sanitary inspector submitted samples sam-ples of ico controlled by all of the local ice firms, to the state chemist about ten days ago and. In view of the highly favorable report returned, Issued Is-sued permits today, for the marketing of the product. The Inspector also submitted samples sam-ples of water from the municipal artesian ar-tesian wells to the state chemist for analysis and these were also declared pure. In addition to these favorable conditions condi-tions the municipal "clean-up" movement move-ment is making excellent headway More than three hundred loads of rubbish rub-bish have been hauled to the dumps by the city teams and residents are urged to remove the rubbish from their premises to the streets as rap-Idly rap-Idly as possible so that it may bo hauled haul-ed away before the free-drayage period per-iod set by the city commission is closed. oo |
