Author!- H ties tonight were without tangible H clews as to identity of.tho lone bandit H who last night robbed several pas- H sengers on Union Pacific passenger H train No. 1, westbound, a few minutes H after it pulled out of the satfon here. H Fifteen suspects were arrested during H the day, but all except one, Joe Daley, H were released. Daley is held pending H satisfactory explanation of his pres- M ence at Corlett Junction, near here, M when the robbery was committed. The M authorities expressed the belief that IH he might have information concerning IH the robber's identity. A total of $5,500 in rewards has IH been offered for capture of the robber. IH Of this, the Union Pacific headquar- IH ters in Omaha offered $5,000. Late to- IH day the state of Wyoming added $500 H to the reward. M |
