Show 00 : STEWART ECCLES II A COLLISION Yesterday, while riding his motor-: motor-: cycle on Twenty-fifth street, at the Intersection of Quincy avenue, Stewart Stew-art Eccles, son of Mrs. Nettie Eccles, received painful injuries when his machine collided with an automobile of the Ashton Brick company. The machines were going in opposite oppo-site directions, tho automobile suddenly sud-denly turning and causing the two machines to strike with great force. Mr. Eccles was hurled to the pavement pave-ment and for a time he was unconscious. uncon-scious. Tho motorcycle was demolished and the auto was damaged about the steering geer. A physician was called to attend Mr. Eccles, an examination disclosing that he was badly bruised about the left side and shoulders. He has been confined to his home Bince the accident, acci-dent, but was reported today as improving. im-proving. No bones were broken but it was necessary for the doctor to place his ribs in bandages. He has suffered much pain. oo |
