Show STOLEN SEP FOUND AND RUSTLERS ARE ARRESTED Frank Smyth .of the Intermountaln Land & Livestock company, has returned re-turned from a trip to Brigham City and Kelton, after spending a number of days chasing sheep thieves. With tho sheriff of Box Elder county, he was successful in running down two men who had driven away 88 head of sheep belonging to the company Mr. Smyth represents. A third man was apprehended, but he was permitted to romaln a few days with his family before appearing in the Justice court. The men under bonds are W. R. Stev-ons Stev-ons and Antotfe Gerzella. The name of the third man is -not disclosed. Mr. Smyth relates that on March 30th his herders missed a number of sheep and, in searching for them, found that thGy had been driven to Kelton, a distance of thirty miles, arriving ar-riving there March 31. Both the sheep and the men were located April 1, the men placed under arrest, and the sheep returned to the owner. i Secretary Smyth states that it has ' come to bo quite a common practice , for sheep rustlers to pick up a bunch i of sheep that has strayed from tho main herd and drive it away, finally , Belling the sheep to Innocent parties. , It was planned to sell his sheep, he says, and the party who had made a bid on them implicated the criminal prosecution, Mr Smyth Btates he ivlll call the attention of tho Slate Wool Growers' association to the mat- , :er, with a view to having vigorous ?rosecutlons.
