Show Deaths and Funerals WOODBURY The funeral of the infant son of Professor and Mrs. Max Woodbury was held yesterday afternoon, after-noon, at the residence, 2030 Monroe avenue, with Bishop E. A. Olsen presiding. pre-siding. The speakers were Frank M. Driggs, E. A. Larkin and Bishop Olsen. Ol-sen. Orson Griffin sang, "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You," "Beautiful Isle" and "Beautiful Zion." Interment was in the city cemetery. TINGEN Aaltjo Tlngen, widow of Johannes Tlngen, and daughter of Jans Weggemans and Geertrulda Ab-bing, Ab-bing, born October 9, 1832, at Wester-bork, Wester-bork, (Drenthe), Netherlands, died at the residence of her son-in-law, George Venema, 3311 Wall avenue, at 9:15 o'clock last evening of general debility. She had been falling in health for some time; especially slnco the middle of November, when she had an attack of la grippe, from which she never fully recovered. She was the mother of nine children, six of which survive her, viz: two sons, Jans and John; and four daughters, Mrs. Wlllem Mulder, Mrs. George Venema, Ve-nema, Mrs. Albertus Bragonje and Mrs. Derk KoldewIJH; besides these there are twenty-one grandchildren. f'She joined the Mormon church at I Amstordam, being baptized on the 7th of June, 1895, by Bernard A. Den-kers Den-kers and confirmed by him two days later. She emigrated to Utah during June, 1S98, with the childron mentioned men-tioned above and has since resided In the First and Eleventh wards. The remains may be viewed on Sunday, after 2 o'clock; and on Monday from lOt o 12. The services will be held in the Eleventh ward chapel on Monday Mon-day at 2 o'clock, under the direction of Bishop Nathan A. Tanner. GALE Funeral services for Hobert Gale were held in the Uintah ward nie.ctlng house yesterday at 2 p m., with Bishop Alma Keyes presiding. The meeting house was filled to capacity ca-pacity with relatives and friends of the deceased and many floral offerings offer-ings were placed upon hlB bier. The speakers were Samuel Dye, George A Kendall. George Watts. Bishop Keyes! llinothy Kendall, Thomas A. Shreeve and C. J. A. Lindquist. Special music mu-sic was furnished by the Uintah ward choir, the following selections being aung: "Abide With Me," "Sweet Hour of Prayer," "I Need Thee Every Ev-ery Hour" and "Sweet Rest in Heaven-" Interment was in the Uintah cemetery. oo |
