Show 1TB LIGHTS 10 INT G0LLIS1 In Municipal Judge Barker's court pesterday afternoon, Leonard Vaughn was freed from a charge of operating an automobile without front lights at a time within the hours proscribed by the state traffic laws. The jury In the case was composed of R. A. Norris, George V. Palmer, C. C. Snlvely and R. C. Shurtz. Attorney R. H. Bau-munk Bau-munk acted as counsel for the defendant, defend-ant, and City Attorney E. T. HulanlskI conducted the prosecution. The witnesses for the prosecution, W. P. Foster and James H. Martin, testified that the defendant was driving driv-ing an automobile without front lights, on the evening of January 3, and that evening of January 3 and that through this negligence there was a collision 'between the automobile and a buggy in which Mr. Foster was riding. The buggy was considerably damaged. Albert Allen, Alfred Allred and the defendant answering the prosecution, admitted the allegation in the complaint, com-plaint, but contended that Vaughn was driving the automobile to the garage to have the lights fixed when the collision col-lision occurred. |
