Burns had overruled a demurrer de-murrer to the indictment. Among the defendants who are charged with conspiracy to corrupt the November election are: District Judge W. B. Hopkins, County Judge Walter F Tlmon and 89 other county officials and citizens of Nueces county. The federal grand jury summoned more than 100 witnesses today to testify tes-tify to the conduct of the same election elec-tion in Duval county. nn |
