Show ITALIANS SEND EXPOSITION TO THE DARDANELLES Basel, Sept. 7. Tho Munich Neue-este Neue-este Nachrlchten states that 117 transports, accompanied by sixteen warships, having aboard soldiers and munitions have- left Tarentum for an unknown destination. It is believed that the expedition is destined for the Dardanelles. The Duke d'Aosta,, commander in chief of the navy, witnessed the departure de-parture of the vessels. Paris, Sept 7. Albert Thomas, French minister of munitions, in addressing ad-dressing a gTOup of correspondents who visited tho government munition factories today, said: "At your next visit you will see a great change. Great progress already has been made and the results obtained ob-tained are such as to relieve us of all anxiety. Victory for us is an absolute ab-solute certainty." |
