Show HORTIGOLTURIST OF NEW YORK IN A LECTURE E. D Baker, a consulting horticulturist horticul-turist of Rochester, X. Y., delhered an interesting lecture this afternoon before a large gathering of Weber county farmers and orchardisfci, In the Colonel Hudson building. His subject sub-ject was "How to sohe fruit troubles' trou-bles' and in evolving it, he illustrated illustra-ted many of his statements with drawings draw-ings upon a blackboard. The information infor-mation which he imparted to his hearers hear-ers concerned many types, rare and common, of diseases peculiar to fru't trees, explaining how each one could be divined, telling of the effects of its ravages and giving ideas of how-it how-it could be effectually combatted. The lecture was received by th-; assembly as an unusually valuable one and the speaker received individual expressions of appreciation. oo |
