Show EXPLOSION VICTIMS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL Wflmington, Del., Nov. 2. Fourteen persons Injured in a powder explosion at Carney's Point, N. J., were brought to Wilmington hospitals today It is said others were injured but the num-l ber is not known. Details have not yet been received at Du Pont Powder company offices here. Wilmington, Del., Nov. 2. Seventeen Seven-teen men were badly injured today by a heavy explosion of a large quantity quan-tity of powder at No. 1 plant at the Du Pont Powder works at Carney's Point, N. J. ya It is said that the explosion was of a carload of white cannon powder The injuries resulted from the livid' flash of fire that soon enveloped the entire premises. |
