Show WARD DEFEATED IN PROVO ELECTION Provo, Nov. 2. Despite perfect weather the vote today was not as large as expected. During the morning morn-ing hours the vote was heavy, then fell off until late iu the afternoon. Each- of the candidates had a number num-ber of workers In each district and many carriages were in use, but the majority of the voters preferred to walk to the polls and cast their ballots. bal-lots. The election was without special spe-cial incident as far as any trouble was concerned. The total vote for mayor was: James E. Daniels, 1845; Charles H. Ward, 645. For commissioner: IT. J. W. Goddard, 1681; L. T. Eppcrjon. 794. For auditor: Alice Brown, 1466; Ralph Elliott, 89S. |
