00 MESSENGER BOY IS INJURED BY AN AUTO Salt Lake. Nov. 3. Edward Thompson, Thomp-son, 16years of age, a messenger boy, was severely injured yesterday morning morn-ing when he was knocked from his bicycle by an automobile driven by Fred Matthews, a public chauffeur, who had been hired to operate his car in the Interest of R. P. Morris, one of the candidates for mayor. The boy was rushed to tho police emergency emer-gency hospital, where it was found he had suffered severe scalp wounds Dr. H. B. Sprague dressed the wounds and ordered the boy taken to his home at 234 Ninth East street. The accident occurred at the intersection intersec-tion of Fourth South and Third West streets.
