Show uu POCATELLO POLICE RECORDS. Pocatollo, Idaho. Nov, 2. The month of October was a busy one in the police court. "Two hundred and thirty-three cases were tried during the month before Judge Alfred Moyea and $1660,50 in fines added to the city treasury. Of these cases twenty-six were for vagrancy sixty-five for drunkenness, nine for disturbing the peace, seven for petit larceny, six for fighting, twenty-four for transporting whisky, thirty-eight for gambling, three for maintaining a common nuisance, nui-sance, one for insulting a woman, one for carrying concealed weapons, nine for speeding, two for smpking opium, and two for minora in pool halls. Five cases were turned over to the county and state, five to the federal authorities authori-ties and three to the Juvenile court. Total number of arrests, 238. |
