II IHIII RESTA IS WINNER OF CUP 100-mile Automobile Race for Harkneso Gold Challenge Cup and $5000 in Cash Won by Resta. New York, Nov. 2. Dario Resta won the lOOmile automobile race for the Harkness gold challengo cup and $6000 in cash at the Shcepshead Bay speedway track today. Hls time, 58:-55:71, 58:-55:71, establishes a new American record, and an averago of 105.39 miles an hour. The Brockland, England, world's lecord for 100 miles is 56.29 93, which is 25:78 seconds faster than that made by Resta today. Resta also beat the Chicago record of 5S:54, which ho made himself. Bob Burman finished in 58.33 95 and Edward Rickenbacher was third in 61 00 69.
