Of starch to use for these collars of linen and organdy that are the earmark ear-mark of the new fashions Add a piece of paraffin the size of 'in egg and a piece of white or cas-itile cas-itile soap the size of s hazelnut to a quart of boiling watei Mix the starch with cold water in a bowl, using us-ing whatever proportion of starch to a quart of water that the particular i brand of starch calls for to make a thin starch I idd the cold mixture to the boiling mixture and let It boll up two or three times Then dd a little bluing, in liquid form |
