M Mills said that the organization was practically prac-tically completed except In three or four subjects. He said that about 9f per cent of the students who ore enrolled en-rolled In the class work are earnest young men and women who fully realize re-alize the importance of this work to them, but there is another class of young people, very limited in number, who will have to make a sudden demonstration dem-onstration of their earnestness or they will bf deprived of attending. Superintendent Su-perintendent Mills said: "Tho nircht school Is open to all who mean business, but for frivolous boys and girls, who lm no purpose In life, there Is no place there. This school Is not eBtubllshed for those who are already in school In the day time. Such pupils, except In cases where they have the consent of the prinel-pals. prinel-pals. should not come to the night school. The room is needed for those who have no opportunity during the da . Parents are advised to keep their boys and girls at home in the eveninf if they are attending the day schools This school is meant to fit Individual needs. A pupil who can not be fitted during the day may. with proper consent, Le admitted during the evening." |
