Mr. Peacock belongs be-longs to the prominent family in Sanpete San-pete county bearing that name, and as Ferron has many ties with Manti, the family Is well known in Ferron. It was no surprise that many people who do not ordinarily go to the Presbyterian Pres-byterian church were soon in the au dltorium of this chapol school filling it well. They were not disappointed in the sermon or the man. This service was rendered the more Interesting by good music and the address of the Rev. John Meeker of Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant representing the presbytery. A letter from the secretary of the woman's wom-an's board of home missions In New York was read by the resident minister, minis-ter, the Rev. R. H. Mix. The building is well constructed, contains four rooms and a basement that Is large enough for four more. It is an ornament to tho town, as well as a center for religious and school life. This dedication sorvice was the last of a series of meetings that began on Thursday evening with the sermon by the retiring moderator, the Rov. C. H. Hamilton of Delta, Utah, and the election of the Rev. R. H. Mix as tho new moderator. On Friday evening the service was devoted to foreign missions.
