FIRST CONTEST The 1914 season for the City Baseball Base-ball leaguo was opened at 6:30 p. m. yesterday at the Fair grounds with a game between the Oregon Short Line and Gnlco teams. The Galcos wore victorious, the score being 3 to 0. The game was a finely balanced contest and kept the "fans" guessing almost until the final inning. The lineup was as follows: Galcos. O. S.'L.
