Show oo Society MEETING POSTPONED The meeting of the Past Noble Grands club which was to have beep held with Mrs. J. 'S. Royle tomorrow afternoon, has been Indefinitely postponed. post-poned. GIVEN SURPRISE PARTY Iiss Dorothy Collins was pleasantly pleasant-ly surprised last Friday evening by a number of her little friends and the young people were delightfully entertained at various prize games and music, the boys and girls singing sing-ing all the popular song6. At the close of the evening's entertainment, a daintily prepared luncheon was served. Table decorations and candles can-dles were carried out in true Easter style and Easter favors were given the following little guests: Misses Hazel Batlen, Edith Bartlett, Marie Bartldtt Ethel Gunnerson, Violet Gait, Muriel Layne, Dorothy Collins; Masters Willard Bltton, Elden Brown, Leslie Collins, Harry Dalton, Hugh Johnson, Delbert Foulger and Gerald Layne. ' NEEDLE CLUB MEETING A pleasant meeting of the Thrifty Needle Kensington met Tuesday afternoon aft-ernoon with :Mrs, G. W. Bruerton, 21 North Washington avenue, and busied themselves with needlework and embroidering em-broidering of dainty pieces of linen. At 5 o'clock the hostess" served delicious de-licious refreshments and the meeting adjourned to meet again April 27 with Mrs. Lawrence Mortenscn, 463 Thirty-second Thirty-second street BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION Tuesday afternoon, April 14, Miss Ruth Osborne celebrated her thirteenth thir-teenth birthday by entertaining at games and m.usic the following little girls: The Misses Mabel Huss. Irma Miller, Mabel Miller, JIarjorle Healy, Mary Healy, Mary Rishdon, Violet Newey, Lizzie Bush, Minnie Jones, Vera Jones, Emma Sims, Jimmle Sims, Florence Browning, Ruth, Lola and Marguerite Balr. Rozel Hicks, Bernice Ford. Thelma Gould. The rooms and table were decorated decorat-ed In pink and green and arranged very tastily. Dainty refreshments were served by Mrs. Osborn assisted by Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Bair, the little ladies who were winner of the prizes are as follows: Royal Hicks, first; Mabel Miller, second; Irma Miller, Mil-ler, third. At 7 o'clock all departed, wishing their little hostess many happy hap-py returns of the day. SPENDS EASTER IN OGDEN Mrs, M. McKibbon spent the Easter week in Ogden with Mrs. J. J". Bau-vllle. Bau-vllle. Mrs. McKibbon resides in Tll-den, Tll-den, Neb., and Is enroute to Boise City and other points In Idaho to visit relatives. PLAN DANCING PARTY Clara Barton Division 237 G. I. A. to B. of L. E. -will give a dancing party in the Colonial academy next Monday, Mon-day, April 20. Good music with a nicely arranged program of dances and wltlK members of the division working hard to promote the affair promises to be one of the social events of the after-Easter season. Refreshments Re-freshments will be served by a local caterer. ST. JOSEPH'S SOCIETY The ladles of St. Joseph's Sewing society will meet on Thursday afternoon aft-ernoon with Mrs. William Doyle as hostess. CHINA SHOWER FOR BRIDE-TO-BE Last evening Miss Agnes Farr was the recipient of a china shower given by Miss Mabel Crase and Miss Elsie Mann and many dainty pieces of china were the gifts of fourteen of her friends present. The gifts, all labeled la-beled with laundry tags, were brought In by the hostesses, dressed as Chinese Chi-nese laundrymen and were opened by Miss Farr. Following a social good time, a luncheon was served, the following guests participating: Mesdames Albert Al-bert J. Crase. Matilda Hales, Harry Hales, Roe Ashment, Clarence Crase. Estey Knapp and V. R. Madsen; Misses Winnifred Gelger, Nellie Mc-Whjnney. Mc-Whjnney. Violet Madsen, Agnes Farr, Mabel Crase and Elsie Mann. Miss Farr's engagement to Harold God-dard God-dard has been announced and the marriage ceremony is to be performed perform-ed this month. MRS. NILES 'ON VISIT.
