Show TRIES MOTORCYCLE AND BREAKS A LEG Salt Lake, April 16. Carl Hansen, chief electrician for the American Smelting &. Refining company at Murray, Mur-ray, suffered a broken leg as a re- suit of a motorcycle accident yesterday yester-day morning at Murray. Hansen was trying out his new four-cylinder motorcycle mo-torcycle and attempted to run along the sidewalk by the Lyon Drug company's com-pany's store. Near the edge of the building ho got confused as to control con-trol of the machine, and instead of shutting down the power as intended, turned it on. The machine bounded forward and struck the side of the drug store, throwing the rider under the motor. Tho motorcycle was damaged conBid- 1 erably, but not to an extent that It cannot be repaired. Mr. Hansen was 1' attended by physicians at the drug ji" store and was later taken to tho JiV Commercial club at Murray. J |
