PRESIDENT ON SPECIAL TRAIN washington dec 2 president roosevelt left washington at 8 this morning tor N J to witness tho annual game of football to he played on princeton field this afternoon between teams representing the naval and military miri tary academies in the presidents immediate party were mrs roosevelt miss ethel roosevelt secretary root hilaa root edward root secretary loeb captain and mra W S collea dr P M mr and douglas robinson and miss corenne robinson and miss isabella hanger ahe trip Is made in a special train of seven cars via the pennsylvania railroad besides the private car af pf the president and his party there were cars for secretary of war taft and a large party and for assistant secretary of the navy newberry and party the train consisted of a private car for the president four pullman care a dining car and a combination car luncheon will oe served on the train will be reached about 1 arriving there the president and mrs roosevelt and some of their immediate friends b the guests of mr woodrow allson president of princeton college the game will begin at 3 during the first halt of tho gama tho president will bo on the bavy side of the field and during the second half on the army side at the conclusion of the game the president and entire official party will return to the special train and leave immediately for washington it is expected the train will reach this city about 10
